Halloween Part 2

This first picture is by far the scariest.

This is Colin (he's sorta new) doing a beer bong from some sort of skull shaped thing.

Friday went as a Mormon - but you can't really see the whole costume. I forgot the names of the girls.

Hilleren, as a "terrorist." No surprises there.

Halloween!

Here is the long-awaited Halloween update (I don't care if no one else posts, it's still long-awaited). Last weekend was Nik's b-day, but I didn't have my camera, so if Megan took any pictures, that update is up to her. Ok, so ... Halloween. It was at Erik's house and most of the Big Ten was there, so there were some unhappy campers Thursday morning at work. But it was fun. In our first set of photos we have: Erik as quail man from Doug, Ben in a dress (it wouldn't be Halloween without it), Jordan as Soulja Boy and Kelly as a golfer and finally, Kozz as Bam-Bam and Mary as a cat.

Nik isn't wearing a costume because he's too cool for Halloween.

Hi, how are you?

I really can't believe everything that I have missed. Another Big 10 DUI, limo rides to the CC Club (although Travis, Andy, and I got that treatment once), and Rob going for the adult toddler look to compliment Mat's fetish.
So in my new capacity as a contributor, I'm adding couple of photos of life in Western Mass- paparazzi style!
The top pic is of Elliot (Pol Sci grad student), myself, and one J Mascis, after a Thurston Moore show. The lower photo is of Colleen (girlfriend of Pol Sci grad student Al, photographer), Elliot, myself, J, and Kim Gordon (she can be seen behind Elliot's left shoulder). And we know where the Gordon-Moore's live. Kinda creepy stuff.
Hopefully this post doesn't clash too much with the title of this blog. Until the next shot of rail whiskey, good day to you all.

So these are out of order, but I figure they need to go up anyway. This was from the weekend we celebrated the end of Hilleren's house arrest (another DUI, and an ankle bracelet this time!). We went to Gastov's first, but hated it, so then we ended up at the Knight Cap, which was like the Big Ten of Northeast. They even had pulltabs! Anyway, I was wasted, so I took pics with Hilleren and Schwagert. Also - I gave Nik a piggyback ride that almost killed us both, and slapped Megan in the arm after she poked my butt.

10/12-13/07

Here's Friday night (Kit already knows some of this since there were numerous phone updates). First, we started off at Megan's place getting our drink on, and it was on pretty hard by the time we got to the bus stop. Mat and Nik posed for the camera while we waited (although I don't really know what they were trying to achieve in the first shot).

We ended up getting a cab instead - and then picked up Megan's cousin and his friends downtown and then went to Rock Bottom, and drank a lot more. Then, waiting for the bus again, a limo appeared, and suddenly we were all riding in it. Here's a shot of everyone (except me and Nik and Mat because we were in the back and I was taking the photo)

Finally, here we have Megan and Di. After this, we got dropped off outside of the CC Club (classy) and had some more drinks (I'm pretty sure I had a Jag Bomb) and then when we tried to go to the Bulldog, the bouncer said Megan was too drunk to go in, so I went home and everyone else went to Megan's, and that is where the story ends.

Here are the pics from the trip Carissa and I took to Fond Du Lac. First, we have the famous Fond Du Lac lighthouse. Cody took us on a tour of his hometown and showed us all the places where he did his "pranks" as a child. One of them involved piano wire and was a little disturbing. Next, we have a shot of Katie. Scroll down to read all about her.

So this is Katie, and Cody tried to warn us about her, but nothing could really have prepared us. Some fun facts: She doesn't actually sing karaoke, she yells for a while and then does stand up (mostly consisting of jokes about how she's fat and likes bacon). Also, she's pretty uptight about religion for being Ba'hai (I found this out while we were sitting in Cody's car smoking, and she started screaming at me). There's more about her, but we'll leave it at that. And really, the picture doesn't do her justice.

This is a shot of the karaoke bar we went to downtown, the Star Bar. The singing was fun, and there were only about four other people there (in their 40s to 50s). Actually, it was kind of the saddest bar ever. Cody and I got to do Total Eclipse, so it was all good. (Also, a middle-aged man told me I sing good).
